Empties! Would I Repurchase?

When you have as many beauty products as I do, it can take a long time to use something up, if ever! So I'm always interested in seeing what other beauty influencers have used up, because it usually means you really like the product. Also, I feel the reviews are more true to life if you've tried the product so many times that you've used it up! I seem to go through phases where I use up a lot of different products around the same time, so I've been hoarding my rubbish effectively for a few weeks now to show you all what I've used up and let you know whether I will repurchase it.

Nivea Black & White Invisible Deodorant - 250ml - £2.50
This is by far my favourite deodorant, and I've tried a lot. I've been using this for years so I've repurchased it around 20 times! I wear black vests the majority of the time and I wear a white top for my netball training and work. This doesn't leave white powder or stains on black clothing at all and it doesn't leave marks / staining on white clothes either, so it actually does what it says! It also has a nice scent and even after exercising, it still leaves you smelling fresh. One can lasts me around 3-4 weeks. You can often find this on offer in Superdrug, so it's worth picking up when it's reduced in price.

The Body Shop Mango Bath Bomb - £1.50
I had been meaning to try these bath bombs for a while, but for some reason just hadn't picked them up. One of my best friends bought me 3 different scents to try as part of a birthday present, so I tried the Mango scent first and I love it! It gave off a strong scent which smelt very fruity and definitely smelt like mango (that's always a good start) and it turned the bath orange, but it didn't stain my bath afterwards (or me for that matter). Sometimes, I find that bath bombs can dry out your skin, but this one didn't, so that's a bonus. Also, the entire bath bomb dissolved, which is much better than some bath bombs which leave powdery residue behind or you end up with lumps of it floating in the bath!

Barry M Flawless Hydro Fix Primer Water - £4.99
Because I'm quite lazy by nature and I'm usually doing my make up in a rush before work, I love using primer waters because they are so quick and easy to use. This one has a really nice mister and it sinks into the skin quickly, leaving it slightly tacky and feeling hydrated and refreshed. It has a nice fresh scent and doesn't affect my skin in any negative ways, such as breakouts or irritations. I also have been using this instead of my Mac Fix+, to dampen my eyeshadow brushes before applying foiled / metallic shades, because this is so much cheaper! This spray worked really well for that too. I wouldn't rush out to repurchase this, only because you can get a huge primer water in Primark now for just £2, and I have around 3 other primer waters to get through first, but this is by no means a bad product and I would recommend it.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Beach Mate Deep Treatment 250ml - £4.99
If you haven't already tried Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatments, you must be living under a rock because they are so popular. They all smell amazing - usually of coconut or tropically smelling and they do leave my hair feeling super soft and healthy. This is not my favourite variety of 3 Minute Miracle, as I do prefer the moisture and re-constructor varieties, but this is by no means a bad product. I usually leave it in for 10-15 minutes and it rinses out easily, doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy and it leaves it smelling lovely too. I also like the design of the bottles - they are squeezy bottles which means you can get a controlled amount of product out. I would definitely continue to purchase more of the 3 Minute Miracle Treatments, but probably not this particular one as the others are more suitable for my hair type.

My Beauty Diary Apple Pore Tightening Sheet Mask - £2.00
I was sent this recently, having never heard of the brand, so although I am not a fan of sheet masks, I thought I would give it a go. For starters, this sheet mask is SOAKED when you take it out the packet, so be careful of dripping product going everywhere! It feels nice and cooling on the skin and has a nice apple scent, although it smells ever so slightly of alcohol too. I kept this mask on for around 25 minutes (it suggests 20-30 minutes) and it was comfortable enough (as comfortable as sheet masks can be!) and covered my face well. When I first took it off, a lot of my redness had seemed to disappear (I have rosacea), but it did come back within a few minutes. It left my pores looking slightly smaller and less noticeable and after around 10 minutes, all the left over product had sunk into my skin and it didn't leave my skin feeling tacky or greasy, it actually felt quite soft and toned. So overall, this is one of the better sheet masks that I've tried!

Collection Pressed Powder (Ivory) - £1.99
I've been using this face powder for years now, as it was on of the palest and probably the cheapest face powder you can buy! It's definitely not a favourite of mine anymore, because I've found better face powders over the years, but it's still a good product. It mattifies and sets your foundation, keeps your oils at bay throughout the day (I have combination / oily skin) and it doesn't take away the coverage of your foundation. It is a good skin colour match for me, but it does kick up a lot of powder when you swirl your brush in it and it can go everywhere! It also had quite a dry consistency, which has a slight scent too - would not recommend breathing when you apply this as you do feel like you've inhaled a load of powder! Overall, this is great for the price so I would recommend this if you are on a budget.

OGX Hydrate & Defrizz Kukui Oil Shampoo - 385ml - £6.99
This is a really nice shampoo if you have dry hair - it foams up nicely and it rinses out easily. This one does have quite a sweet, nutty sort of scent, which I personally really like and it isn't overpowering. It also leaves my hair smelling really nice afterwards. It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean, without being weighed down, greasy or dry. My hair is very fussy with what it likes and dislikes, and overall, it seems to really like OGX shampoos and conditioners and this is one I would recommend.

Nivea Nourishing Hand Cream - £3.59
One of the products I could not live without is hand cream. My hands always feel really dry when I have washed them or when I get out the bath / shower, so I use it constantly all day! This is the old packaging of Nivea hand creams (I've had it for a while because I mix up which hand creams I use all the time) and now they are in a more compact little tube. This one is great for dry skin, it is quite a thick consistency that sinks into your hands nicely without leaving them greasy / oily afterwards. It has a nice, hand cream sort of scent, nothing fancy but just slightly fragranced. Overall, this is a great hand cream that my skin seems to really like, so I would repurchase this, once I've got through a few more hand creams I own!

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Face Powder (Translucent) - £6.99
I use translucent powder every day to set my under-eye concealer. I've tried many translucent powders and I do seem to get through them quite quickly! This one comes in quite a large compact, which has a mirror underneath the product. I can't comment on whether it leaves a white cast, because I am so pale, you wouldn't notice if it did! But it keeps my under-eye concealer in place all day and it doesn't cause my mascara to transfer under my eyes. It doesn't look dry or cakey and it leaves the skin looking smooth. This particular powder seems very finely milled, so it is very smooth to the touch and doesn't kick up a lot of powder when you swirl your brush in it. Overall, this is one of the better translucent powders that I've tried so I would repurchase it.

Vaseline Spray Moisturiser Aloe Fresh 190ml - £6.59
Again, because I am lazy, I love anything that is quick and easy to use and is no fuss! This is an amazing moisturiser that I would recommend to anyone. I use it on my legs after shaving and it is fantastic. The spray bottle gives a fine mist of product, and it still sprays upside down, so you can easily spray it all over your legs. Once rubbed in, it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling tacky or sticky like most other moisturisers I've tried. Considering it's a very thin formula and you don't need to use a lot, it is surprisingly moisturising! The aloe scent is nice a fresh and the scent does linger on your skin. This is so quick and easy to use and it does the job so I would definitely repurchase this, although I already have two other variations of this in back up!

No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes - £7.50
I've spoken about these wipes numerous times on my blog before, but these wipes are amazing for taking the majority of your make up off. I use these wipes everyday to take my make up off, before going in with micellar water on a cotton wool pad, to get any remnants of make up that's left on my skin. These wipes are bigger than other face wipes I've tried and they are also thicker. The packet has a plastic seal, which stops the wipes from drying out, and generally, every pack I've tried has had pretty damp wipes right until the end of the pack. I've probably repurchased these wipes around 50 times so far and I have numerous packs in back up. They are worth picking up when you have a £5 off No7 skincare voucher - I can't say I would pay £7.50 for a pack of wipes personally!

Inecto Naturals Tropical Coconut Infusion Shower Gel - £0.99
This is a shower gel I purchased in a Bodycare shop because I LOVED the smell of it in the tube. I love tropical scents but this one is beautiful, a really coconutty, pineapple scent. I don't find that this dries out my skin at all and I've used it both as a shower gel and as a bubble bath. This isn't the most moisturising shower gel that I've tried, although it doesn't claim to be, so I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy this again but if I saw it, I would probably pick it up.

Carmex Moisturising Vanilla Lip Balm SPF15 - £3.25
I've already repurchased this lip balm numerous times and I will continue to do so! This is an extremely moisturising lip balm, it has a vanilla scent but it is also the minty kind of scent you get from Carmex Lip Balms. It is a little bit tingly on the lips, but I quite like that. It has a thick gel kind of formula, which keeps your lips moisturised for hours and you don't need to apply much. A lot of lip balms I've tried actually dry out your lips (making you use more and therefore buy more!) but this doesn't do that at all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry lips, especially for the summer months as it has SPF15 and a lot of people don't realise your lips can burn too!

Thank god I can throw away all this rubbish now and don't have to keep hoarding it!
